About the Item

Image dimensions: 24.5 x 33.5 cm. Bottles Composition is an original offset print, reproducing the original watercolor by Giorgio Morandi. Signature by the artist is perfectly reproduced on plate. From the volume "L'Opera grafica di Giorgio Morandi", text by Lamberto Vitali, printed in Ilte, Tourin, 1973. Excellent work on paper depicting a still life composition. The work is a photolithograph realized by the great Italian master of the XX Century Giorgio Morandi and depicts two small volumes realized with two simple and effective spots of grey color. Our specimen is numbered 36 from a limited edition of 120 numbered volumes of the deluxe edition. Plates are not numbered. Our copy was printed in Giorgio Upiglio's press. At the end of the print run, the plate was scored out in accordance with the artist's custom. The reproduction of the watercolors, conducted on the originals, was made in offset. The special paper of the boards and the actual support have been specially manufactured by the Miliani paper factory in Fabriano.
